Eiichi Sumi carved Kentucky Master Model KM1000 in Sunburst finish

I bought from a pro-picker's collection recently and have now become the 4th owner of the instrument. These were built in the small Maruka workshop in Japan in the early 1980s, where Japanese luthier and master carver Eiichi Sumi is well known for being apart of this small team of 4 craftsman that built the early Kentucky models. This particular Mandolin has been recorded with several times on can be heard on a handful of albums. I've had installed a K&K internal twin & and a Fishman Nashville M-300 bridge pickup where I mix the signals in a Grace Felix.
