Mahogany backed F5 mandolin with sitka spruce top.

Purchased by the current owner early in 2018, this early 2000's Bitteroot features a mahogany back and sides with a solid spruce top. The ribs and neck are also mahogany, with a f styled peghead featuring the weber script logo and the celtic knot. This example was signed by Ted Weber, and had it's neck replaced by him in 2015 after a dreadful shipping incident via UPS. At that time the peghead vener and inlay were upgraded to the pearl versions you see now, as well as the nice maccasar ebony fretboard and peghead veneer as shown.
